Villa Silvestri

Villa Silvestri is located in the hamlet of Valgatara, in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella.

It was built by Silvestri family towards the half of XIX century and it's a tipical example of the second generation of Valpolicella's villas. The villas were built by non-resident owners, because the borning habit of the holiday and occasional check of the ownership administration satisfied them.

The house is in a dominant position, and it is important the relationship between the garden and the park that are cared as prolongation to the outside of the building. As time goes by, the house hasn't undergone any changes; it is of connecting it to the surrounding landscape which, fron the inside, can be perceived simultaneously in any direction.
