The villa was owned by Pullè from the second half of the 17th century and still retains its coat of arms on the south facade, on the chapel and on some rustic houses.
Pietro Monga, owner of the neighboring villa Saibante purchased it around 1830 and placed his coat of arms on the north facade and the public entrance to the chapel. The new lord enriched the villa with numerous archaeological finds: stone pieces walled in the wall of the villa and the chapel, the sepulchral ark of the grammarian Gaiferio (died in 1324) and many others.
The presence in the villa of a well from 1516 and the park rich in secular plants should also be mentioned.
After 8th September 1943 the command and headquarters of Marshal Kesserling took office in the villa.
Giacomo Galtarossa bought the complex and the villa in 1929-30 and began the recovery operations.
Opening times
The parts of the villa that can be visited are: the room of cultural importance, the ground floor lounge and the garden.
The villa can be visited from 9:00am to 10:00am:
- On the 1st Monday of every month.
- On the occasion of the European Heritage Days.
- On local and national festivities.
It can be visited until 2029.
