Villa Giona is historical residence of the Gionas, a family with Jewish origins resident in Verona.
The Villa was constructed between the end of the 1400 and the begin of the 1500.
The main building is connected to two wings, set in horsehoe both ending with a devecot tower. The central inhabited part of the building looks out to a part of the park, which continues around the building.
The suggestive shape and the good acoustic of the building make Villa Giona-Fagiuoli a perfect place for theater and music events, such as the exhibition "Musica in Villa".
Opening times
The park and the Villa can be visited: on the first Monday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm. For the event 'Giornate Europee del Patrimonio' on Saturday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Visatable until 2021.
