The villa has always been the centre of a wide agricoltural holdign, which spreads on the slopes of a hill near the village of San Floriano.
Already in 1653 Fumanelli family were owners of various goods in Squarano, but the villa should be older. The Fumanelli propriety is decorated by various stems of the noble family that can be seen in: norther face, in a white slab mounted in the wall, in keystone of the entrance, near the oratory and in the lock of the northern face. The villa is characterized by the tuff, widely used; it has a typical profile of other buildings of this territory, with a triangular attic on the second floor.
On the first floor, a big window with a medallion in the keystone, opens on a balcony with a balaustrade. The central salon is decorated with large green-frescoed curtains and upon the four doors, four puttos are painted, that are rolled up with vines.
The library was ruined during the Second World War.
On ground floor, there's a salon with frescos: they depict a sequence of faces: the kitchen has a wonderful bread-oven.
In front of the iron gate, the path with cypresses ends.
