In 1845 it was owned by Paolo Brenzoni, husband of Caterina Bon remembered by a walled plaque, which in that period owned in addition to the palace in Sant'Ambrogio three farmhouses, various plots of land kept in lawn, garden, arable land, in forest or pasture for a total of almost twenty-four hectares. It is currently owned by the municipality of Sant’Ambrogio which was purchased by Emanuele Bassani.
The restoration work carried out revealed a seemingly XVI century building nucleus characterized by portals with drafts, vaulted ceilings, remains of pictorial decoration as well as a large cellar. It is precisely from this primitive nucleus that the current building developed with the superposition of the main front with the neoclassical facade of 1805, according to an inscription that is painted on it.
Inside the main building, the restoration made it possible to recover the large rooms on the main floor with some of the pictorial decorations that animated the walls and ceilings. These are characterized by frames and garland decorations as well as by the presence of frames within which there are space for beautiful landscape views.
