The cloister of the former convent of the Friars Minor, built in 1230, houses the Museum of Frescos, dedicated to the art historian G.B. Cavalcaselle. In the crypt of the convent there is the sarcophagus that, according to tradition, guarded Juliet's body. In the basement of the former church of St.Francis (13th century) many amphorae are preserved, belonging to a deposit of the first Roman imperial age (I sec. d.C.).
The Guarienti Hall in the cloister of the former convent of the Friars Minor, built in 1230, preserves the frescoes by Paolo Farinati, dated 1560 - 1570, detached from the room of identical dimensions in the Guarienti house. In the portico defined by false Ionic columns, there are allegorical figures and pagan divinities: Diana, Venus, Mercury, Terpsichore and two mythological scenes with the three Graces and the Naiads.
