MusALab | Museo archivio laboratorio Franca Rame Dario Fo

Hosted in the spaces of the Archivio di Stato di Verona, MusALab is a heritage of extraordinary relevance that covers over ninety years of the history of Italian theater and culture, composed of scripts, manuscripts, drawings, photographs, paintings, posters, books, articles , costumes, puppets and sets.

Inside are preserved materials collected by the "Famiglia Rame", an ancient company from which Franca Rame was born.

The Franca Rame Archivio Dario Fo was conceived and created by Franca Rame who designed and made it available online since 1995.

Due to its artistic value and rich content, the physical and online archive has been recognized as a cultural heritage of Italian history and therefore declared a "particularly important historical interest" by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism in the December 2015.

MusALab intends to revive the heritage of the Copper-Fo family of art through activities and initiatives aimed above all at young people in schools of all levels and up to universities and academies.
