Creazioni d’Arte Zucchetta
- R_VERONA
Among the tools, stands out a 18th century iron anvil on a wooden column and a shaped stake anvil to produce small frames and chisels.
The showcases made of iron and glass, the divider and the radiator have been made by Veronese renowned artisan Berto da Cogolla, these too designed by the store owner.
The original sign, made of ventilated brass on wood and handmade by Zucchetta himself, had been smuggled and a little later luckily found. It is now on display inside the store. Today this business is run by Maestro Zucchetta and his son Cristian.
Zucchetta Art Store is in the Botteghe Storiche register both for quality and seniority.
Interesting facts: in the more than 50 years since the beginning of his business, Maestro Zucchetta has been creating internationally renowned unique collections. Among those who enjoyed his work there were Ezra Pound, King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden and Jacqueline Kennedy. For her, the Maestro created a necklace with a little fossil fish extracted from the Lagerstätte of Bolca, in the province of Verona. This work is part of a fossil jewelry collection made at the beginning of the 1990s.
