ATTENTION!!! The trails in the Ponte Tibetano area are currently not safe. The Alpine Rescue recommends avoiding it until a later date, indicating that the path is unusable as the bottom is dangerous, muddy and slippery.
Two caves (Coalo del Diaolo and Buso Streto) have been discovered in the north-west of Marano di Valpolicella, on the watershed with the valley of Fumane. They were used in prehistory as shelter and burial place. Two karst caves rich in limestone concretions that can be reached with a suggestive path along meadows and woods. The caves have numerous calcareous concretions (stalagmites and stalagmites), inside you can find animals, insects and traces of human settlements of archaeological value.
WARNING! We point out that the path n. 5 of the Tibetan Bridge and the paths nr. 3 and nr. 4 of the Valsorda area are paths of very high difficulty only for expert hikers, they must be faced with extreme caution and attention. It is necessary to use high mountain boots with a well-sculpted sole and comfortable clothing. They are absolutely not recommended in case of bad weather and in the days immediately following.
IMPORTANT: as recommended by the Veronese mountain rescue in Valsorda the routes to and around the Tibetan bridge must be considered mountain paths and must be faced with the right equipment, awareness and preparation without leaving the marked trail. A PRUDENT BEHAVIOR IS RECOMMENDED. Given the particular morphology of the area, the Alpine Rescue also indicates that knowledge of the routes and departure at times appropriate to the length of the journey is essential.
