The parish church of Vangadizza is the result of continuous renovations. Until 1800, a smaller church stood on the same area with the apse facing east and the central exit door to the west. In 1808 the church underwent radical interventions aimed at expanding its capacity to meet the increase in population. These changes made it assume the shape of a Latin cross, serving the old church as a transept and lengthening its sides to form a nave; the presbytery reached less than half the length of the current one and ended without apsidal curve but with a rectangular shape. The writing on the current facade dates back to this time: D.O.M. ET B.M.V.P. MDCCCVIII.
It underwent other renovations in 1880, a time when the apse was lengthened by the then parish priest Don Gio Batta Chiaffoni and assumed the shape of an apse curve, the marble altar from the parish church of Villafranca was installed. the presbytery was equipped with two large canvases bought from a Venetian church, the choir was covered with worked wood and the apse was embellished with a canvas painted, in 1898, by the Veronese painter Vittorio Pittaco.
The church houses some impotent canvases, including a Madonna with Child by Claudio Ridolfi and the Deposition of Jesus from the cross by Paolo Farinati. Instead, two bas-reliefs, now located in the chapel dedicated to the baptismal font, depicting Christ blessing and a triptych with Madonna and Saints of the century testify to its antiquity (15th century).
