The kiosk offers a large selection of drinks and sandwiches, as well as ice creams and watermelons for those who want to freshen up during summer.
The kiosk is a colourful small building in square form: the masonry is white and brick- red painted, while the shutters are green. Made of cement and rocks, the kiosk is open on three sides with wide windows. The cantilever roof protects part of the stallage. Thanks to its good state of repair and the employment of the original elements, Chiosco San Zeno is part of the Botteghe Storiche’s catalogue.
Interesting facts: before the war, Mrs Ada Zamperioli used to run a street retail trade in this point of the city. In 1946, following the Mayor’s suggestion, she decided to build this kiosk; it is said that the walls were built with the rocks of Adige.
Opening year: 1946
