The little church of San Pietro in Briano is one nave building that is on the hill called San Pietro in Briano. It is surrounded by an olive grove and it is located 100 meters far from Contrada Brian.
According to some documents of the 17th century, it was given custody of the church to an anchorite, who lived in a house near the church. After 1866 the church has been left to the mercy of the other people.
After the second world war it has been renovated. There are some frescoes of the 15th century both inside and outside. On the altar there are two statues of San Pietro e Paolo
Today the church is opened only for a time in the year: on occasion of the liturgical feast of San Pietro and Paolo. You can get there, passing the city center of Cazzano and following the indications for this churc
