This very ancient building is located in the village of Arbizzano.
On top of a Christian temple (5th century b.C.) rose a Romanesque church (11th century) with the splendid doorway with its impressive "double crucifixion" in bas-relief on both sides of a single white piece of marble. The doorway is beautifully sculpted with various religious and nature motifs, including vine shoots and grape bunches. The current church dates back to the 1600s and has a triptych-reliquiary, a 13th century baptismal font, a 16th century canvas attributed to Pietro Negri and a triptych by Giuseppe Antonio Schiavi.
Of interest also are the 18th century sculptures executed by Lorenzo and Pietro Muttoni. Beside the church, there is a Romanesque buiding that was once as lodgings for clergy, and in fact today it is used as a rectory.
