The Panoramic path has been divided into several paths, marked by different colors and designed for relaxing walks, with common departure and arrival. With a bit of orientation, however, you can try more than one route and also extend the road to the neighboring territories.
All the routes offer a variety of really pleasant views and panoramas. They wind through valleys and hills surrounded by green woods, vineyards, olive trees and cherry trees. Cypresses and oaks rise imposingly, the locust trees smell the air, the vast pine forest that descends from S. Giorgio di Valpolicella offers coolness and fun for runners and cyclists.
Almost continuous presence is water. Springs, ponds, streams accompany us and with them small animals such as salamanders. The vegetation is lush. Many shrub species including butcher's broom, hops, honeysuckle, hawthorn, dog rose, viburnum, scotch which give different colors to each season.
Rich the presence of floral species from different varieties of orchids, horsetail to the most humble but colorful spots of soapwort, primroses, violets, sanguinaria, broom, lunaria, clematis, mallow ... These lands are carefully cultivated with modern means, but they retain clearly visible traces of an ancient peasant world, such as the dry “marogne”.
