The bakery business, together with the coffee roasting and sales, was launched by Barini family in the early 1970s and has kept its commercial proposals and the décor unaltered until today.
Even now, sons and nephews offer coffee beans or ground coffee, and a rich patisserie of variegated sweets from the local tradition, including the so-called baci (kisses) of Giulietta e Romeo, zaletti, risini, torta russa and nadalin. The exteriors are characterised by a storefront with a neon-sign dating back to the opening time of the business.
The internal space has been renovated at the beginning of the 1970s and has remained broadly unchanged until now. The café Pasticceria Barini is part of the Botteghe Storiche’s catalogue both for quality and seniority.
Interesting facts: this place was originally a food store. It was then taken over by Bernini Family, which started the new business dedicated to the coffee roasting and the bakery.
Opening year: 1971
