A mission, that Eataly Art House (E.ART.H.), which is to give life to new ways of enjoying art, through a renewed model of collecting and through new ideas, to reach a broad understanding of our reality, where works are the ground to comprehend the present and to open new glances on the future.
Eataly Art House is housed in the converted spaces of the largest refrigerated warehouse in Europe, the former Specialized Refrigeration Station built in the 1930s and that with Eataly occupies the spaces of the former refrigerated cells, renovated to give new life to an important place for the city. The complex, a jewel of industrial archaeology developed over 10,000 square metres, was designed by Pio Beccherle and recently restored by Mario Botta.
The ground floor, interspersed with the rooms of Eataly, houses the Art Market, an exhibition space distributed over three corridors, where you can admire installations divided by area, in collaboration with some of the most renowned Italian and international galleries, and where you can buy the exhibited works.
The first floor of the building, the Art House, is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of contemporary art and photography.
