The facade is what mainly distinguishes this store: the Art-Nouveau shop window dates back to the 1930s. It is made of a painted-metal triple frame protected by folding shutters; above this, there is an exquisite grey plate sign, crowned by a volute outline. In the centre of the sign stands out a fan of stylized flowers which highlights the entrance and interrupts the continuity of the red-character inscription. A metal roof flashing with blended, crenelated borders protects the entire structure.
The interior fittings are a few decades younger than the display and are made of white marble shelves which substituted the original ones from the beginning of the 20th Century. Over the years, there have been a few successive generations; this is why Alimentari Salumeria Albertini is in the Botteghe Storiche register both for quality and seniority.
Interesting facts: in this shop there was the tradition of exposing, on the shop window folding shutters, wicker bottles and meat products, so to identify the facade.
Opening year: 1938
