The tavern changes its name into Osteria La Biedermeier under the Austria-Hungrian Empire. In the aftermath of World War II the tavern becomes a proper restaurant, whose reputation quickly extends beyond the national boundaries. In 2011 the Association Amarone Families of Valpolicella took over the Bottega del Vino, as is has always been active in promoting the territory’s gastronomic heritage.

The furnishing components, in both Tyrolean and Medieval colours and style, date back to the early 1900s and were partly realised by the decorator Pino Casarini. The walls are painted in oil varnish and marked by wooden decorations with geometric patterns. Particularly valuable are the seats, the boiserie, the separating elements and the wooden tables, especially the octagon-shaped ones. The authentic chandeliers are constituted by wicker wine ricercata cucina bottles surrounded by wrought-iron bands.
 
On the outside, the entrance is signalled by wall lanterns in wrought iron and red glass and it is characterised by solid wooden shutters, which open on glazing panels amber-coloured.
The bright flag-shaped sign in green and white letters reports the name Bottega Vini, a wine bar serving 120 different wines every day and a distinctive cuisine inspired by the Veronese tradition.

Interesting facts: the cellar encloses a treasure: it presents a terracotta vaulted ceiling and a wall- mounted selection of bottles, meticulously catalogued, coming from the five continents. There is a total number of 19 thousands bottles for 4.500 different wine labels. Since 2004 Bottega del Vino was awarded the prestigious award “Winde Spectator Grand Award” for the wine list.
