The outskirts and the hidden ancient treasures out of the beaten roads

Amazing hike, out of the beaten routes along ancient tracks, discovering the charming outskirts of Verona. Easy hike along a circular route, also suitable for families, that leads us to discover historical spots in the outskirts. We will visit special places not far from the old center of town.

Our hike starts in Castel San Pietro hill. We will explore the ancient walls that surround Verona and form the ideal eco-system for plants and specific animals, we will walk the "Torricelle" and then we will reach the hill where stands the Santuario di Maria di Lourdes, a sanctuary that offers also a fantastic views on the rooftops of town. The way back is along a path called "lasagna".
