We've kidnapped William Shakespeare

For the 2025 theater season, Casa Shakespeare presents an audacious and captivating challenge that will traverse six of William Shakespeare's most famous works: “Abbiamo Rapito William Shakespeare,” more commonly known as A.R.W.S.

The event is structured with shows organized in Italian and dialogues performed in English (except the last show).

• 24.01.2025 – The Merchant of Venice: Games of Fate
  A dynamic interpretation of “The Merchant of Venice” that will raise current questions about morality and the complexities of human relationships.
  
  
• 14/15.02.2025 – Romeo & Juliet: Love in Modern Times
  A contemporary reimagining of the eternal love of Romeo and Juliet, where overwhelming passion collides with the challenges of modern society. 
   
• 07.03.2025 – Midsummer: Magic and Deceptions
  An enchanting and entertaining comedy that will be performed in Italian and English, bringing the magic of the Forest of Deceptions directly to the audience.
  
  
• 21/22.03.2025 – Othello: The Moor of Venice
  A powerful interpretation of “Othello” that will highlight the tragedies of jealousy and betrayal.
  
  
• 11.04.2025 – Antony and Cleopatra
  A cheeky version of the Shakespearean work that plays on the humor inherent in the romantic needs of the “not-so-young” protagonists.
