Verona Mountain Film Festival

Great cultural tourism event for fans of mountain cinema, which aims to promote the environments of the so-called "Highlands of the World" and to discover them through exploration, climbing and mountaineering.

The Festival brings together, in a single format, film screenings and collateral events related to mountain culture: presentations, awards, artistic and musical performances and photographic projections.

At an international level, a call for a film competition is launched open to directors and production companies from all over the world who have elected the mountains as the main subject of their works, in particular mountaineering, exploration and climbing. A photographic competition dedicated to the theme of the mountain is also promoted, aimed at both professional photographers and amateurs.

The event is organized by the Veronese sections of the Italian Alpine Club in collaboration with the Italian Mountain Association.

The Italian Mountain Association was founded in 1996 with the aim of promoting the mountain territory and its expressions, with the aim of supporting tourism, culture and the environment, in Italy and abroad, organizing fairs, conferences, studies, shows, events and reviews.
