Teatro Ristori - Jazz

The 2024/25 jazz season opens with a non-subscription concert and closes with the celebrations for International Jazz Day.
In between, artists from all over the world will take turns on the stage of the Ristori Theater from October 2024 to the end of April 2025.

The first appointment is Thursday October 10th with a concert exclusively for northern Italy: Hiromi, the pianist who amazed the world with her show "Sonic Wonderland".

On October 18th a formidable quartet will perform, together for the first time in Europe: Peter Erskine on drums, Alan Pasqua on piano, Darek Oles on double bass and Bob Mintzer on sax.

We continue on November 6th with “Thoughts and Words”.
A journey full of Latin flavours, enveloping rhythms, history, emotions and great pathos that will make us relive 20 great songs by Lucio Battisti.

The first concert of the new year will be entrusted on February 7th to the "rising star" of jazz, Francesca Tandoi: virtuoso pianist, elegant vocalist, excellent composer and extraordinary band leader.

Cécile McLorin Salvant will bring her musical fairytale in cantata form to the stage on March 12th.
The story, lyrics and music written by Salvant will be accompanied by a 13-piece orchestra.

The event will close on April 30th, International Jazz Day, with the Godfather of Swing. Ray Gelato and his band “The Giants” present a high energy show.

All shows start at 8.30pm.
