Ristori Baroque Festival

The Ristori Baroque Festival has reached its third edition, dedicated to Evocations.

Music is a universal language which, without the use of words, is able to move the soul and mind, using the strength of rhetorical figures.
The instrumental score becomes an ideal place of evocation and the musical language reaches the point of probing the most secret emotions of the soul.
The entire program of the Baroque Festival of the Teatro Ristori unfolds around these reflections.

The program opens with Le Quattro Stagioni, a piece more than ever evocative of the succession of time; we continue with Bach and Couperin, and then “The human passions”, “Follies and battles”; “The Brandenburg Concerts”, “Wandering Europe”.

We arrive at the last date with "Water in music" to underline the very close link with life: water is life, water is seen as the mother from which life was generated.
Music and water are similar, they are creative parts of the world, they merge into a single movement, the waves are sound and are the fluid part of matter, symbol and manifestation of the cyclical progression of time.

The concerts are held at the Ristori Theater or at the Spazio di San Pietro in Monastero.
