Sunday, March 30th, the tenth edition of the Muralonga Verona returns, a food and wine walk, starting from 09.00 a.m. every 15 minutes, where you can discover our city through its walls and hills, all accompanied by professional guides.
The itinerary, starting from Porta Palio, will lead you to the discovery of the Park of the Walls of Verona: an extraordinary complex of bastions, curtains, gates and forts that are part of the fortification system of the city. After Porta Palio, it continues towards the bastions of Santo Spirito and Maddalene and then pass through Porta Vescovo, the Batteria di Scarpa and then up to Castel San Felice, ending with the exploration of the Boccare and Porta San Giorgio. To mark the places of visit, a "spread refreshment", a tasting of typical Veronese dishes, from appetizers to desserts, along the entire route.
The route of 13 km is suitable for everyone, both for those who love Nordic walking and for those who love walking in a slow way. Dogs are welcome.
The event, organized by Società di Mutuo Soccorso Porta Palio with the collaboration of various associations.
