Il Grande Teatro

"Il Grande Teatro" is the successful and decades-long winter festival of prose organized by the City of Verona and the Teatro Stabile di Verona - Centro di Produzione Teatrale.

"Il Grande Teatro", which this year has reached its 38th edition, was founded in 1986 to offer the city a winter theater season of high artistic level that would give continuity to the performances of the Estate Teatrale Veronese. In this way the public of Verona began to have the opportunity to attend the same shows that were on the billboards of the main Italian cities.

The exhibition opens on November the 5th with the show “Ciarlatani” by Pablo Remón, and continues until March with “La grande magia” by Eduardo De Filippo, “La Locandiera” by Carlo Goldoni, “Lo zoo di vetro” by Tennessee Williams,” Arlecchino?” by Marco Baliani, “I ragazzi irresistibili” by Neil Simon, “Boston marriage” by David Mamet and “Magnifica presenza” by Ferzan Ozpetek.
