The concentration camp of Montorio Veronese, today called DAT la Colombara, becomes a place of remembrance.
Guided tours organized in collaboration with the Association of the Sons of the Shoah help to know the history of this site used in World War II as a detention place for political prisoners and concentration camp for Jews, because there is no future without knowledge of the past.
The guided tours in italian are free, open up to a maximum number of 30/35 people, with mandatory reservation at the following link: https://www.montorioveronese.it/camp-concentration-di-montorio/
In case of bad weather the tours are cancelled.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for a country hike on uneven dirt ground.
People with motor difficulties are encouraged to contact organisers.

A form must be filled out for each person participating (including minors). After the procedure is completed, a confirmation email will be sent with all the detailed information to reach the location.
