The Choir of Phillips Exeter Academy in London, directed by Maestro Kristofer Johnson, will undertake a concert tour in Italy this spring.
After performances in San Gimignano, Florence, and Venice, the Choir has chosen the city of Verona for a magnificent concert in the majestic setting of the Basilica di Sant’Anastasia.
The ensemble will perform an a cappella program of sacred choral music featuring works by Palestrina, Monteverdi, Pärt, Gabrielli, Bruckner, Rossi, Hogan, and others.
The duration of the concert is approximately 1 hour.
The concert is free and open to all; no advance ticket reservation is necessary.
