The guided tour of the Museum is enriched by the path dedicated to the exhibition "Masterpieces on paper. Drawings from the Miniscalchi-Erizzo Museum between the Renaissance and Baroque".
Accompanied by one of the curators, visitors will be able to admire a selection of ancient drawings from the Miniscalchi-Erizzo Museum collection, created by renowned Italian artists such as Giovanni Maria Falconetto, Battista del Moro, Paolo Farinati, Alessandro Maganza, Palma il Giovane, Jacopo Bassano, and Alessandro Turchi, known as l'Orbetto.
The exhibition features sculptures, paintings, and documents, including for the first time 30 of the 168 drawings from the Miniscalchi-Erizzo Collection, gathered between 1630 and 1680 by the Veronese scholar Ludovico Moscardo.
This collection was one of the first and most significant of its kind in Northern Italy.
Wandering through the halls of an ancient palace surrounded by works of art, listening to anecdotes about how an eclectic collection was formed, closely observing rare and mysterious objects, being amazed at having never seen them before… in summary, this visit is a fascinating journey through five centuries, discovering a unique house museum.
